It's been raining accolades for Health Ministry director-general, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, for his dedication battling the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
Perhaps the youngest of his fans could be nine-year-old Lara Khadijah Cornelius McAfee, an aspiring gymnast from Terengganu.
She penned an appreciation letter and gifted a loom band to Noor Hisham.
Lara received a delightful surprise after Noor Hisham replied to her.
Noor Hisham ended the letter by advising Lara to study hard.
"One day, it will be your turn to help Malaysia. Follow your dreams and work hard for it.
"From your new friend, Dr Hisham."
